Dean Wilson is a former postman. His poems have been published in a range of magazines and anthologies, including The Rialto, magma, Rising, The Slab, the reater, 10 Miles East of England and The Hull Connection.

He is the fourth best poet in Hull.

His first full-size collection Sometimes I’m So Happy I’m Not Safe on the Streets was published by Wrecking Ball Press in 2016.
